Greenland – Land, Sea and Ice

My husband Rob has spent all fall combing through the thousands of pictures he took on his trip to Greenland this September. His photographs are so spectacular, that it was a challenge to narrow it down to this selection. I hope you enjoy his tour of the amazing land, sea and ice of Greenland!

  1. Hi, Sally! Thank you for Rob’s gorgeous Greenland shots! I’ve long been fascinated with tales and reports of life and exploration in Greenland. A big favorite of mine is Knud Rasmussen–just read a great biography by Stephen Brown. And I’ve loved Peter Freuchen’s and Kari Herbert’s books about their experiences there.

  2. Truly breathtaking! I love the contrast of the sunset picture after looking at the day images. Greenland must be an amazing place to visit.

  3. Jawdropping. The world is a beautiful place. Thanks for taking us to this special place. Can we all come over and see the rest of them?

  4. Thanks Sally and Rob for sharing your incredible experiences and talents with us. I have enjoyed all the beautiful shots of Iceland and Scotland this year and really look forward to your next adventure. Happy New Year!

  5. Thank you so much, the photos are awesome and you are very kind to share with us. Eventhough I live in south Brazil, my family comes from Denmark and a relative from there was a Greenland explorer, who died while tracing the borders in Greenland (Ludvig Mylius-Erichsen) – I am so curious about Greenland, thanks!
Have you all a beautiful and healthy 2016, my best regards
