Congratulations to Cindyfelter, Nancy K. and Carlie H. , who are the winners in the Pocketful of Posies poster giveaway. I will be sending e-mails to notify each of you, so you can send me your mailing addresses. Here’s a photo of Saturday’s book signing at Eight Cousins Bookstore, taken by the owner Carol Chittenden. Despite the impending storm, a few people showed up, including my doctor, who is a stitcher himself! They are celebrating 25 years in business and are the only bookstore left in town. We’ve had agreat relationship over the years and I’m always willing to go in and sign a book on request.
What a great picture and congratulations to the winners. As an author/artist I know how exciting it is for me to be able to meet the people and spend time with friends. You are so very fortunate to have that wonderful bookstore near you. helen
I love Eight Cousins and shopped there often when we were in Falmouth for much of the summer, when Dan performed at CLOC. The folks at the bookstore were always very helpful and I picked up some wonderful treasures which I used when teaching second grade. Sure hope I can visit there again, and maybe you’ll be there too! Blessings to you..so glad to hear that the Cape survived yet another weather threat.
Elles ont bien de la chance d’avoir gagné…. Bravo; amitiés de France
What a treasure, to have a darling bookstore so close! This must be such fun for you!!! You bring art and stitching together in such a beautiful way, Salley….. wonderful that we can find your work in your lovely books!!!
Thanks so much…I am so thrilled, you are a great talent!! I will love looking at it in my sewing room!
Congratulations to the winners!
Funny about your doctor, I bumped into mine at a craft store once, and found out he loves to hobby craft.
