Since last week, many new subscribers have signed up, with dozens from France. They may like to know that my how-to book, Felt Wee Folk was published in French in 2003. It is titled Personnages et Motifs: Creations Malicieuses, published by Les Editions de Saxe. I believe it is out-of-print, but used copies may be available.
Also, the Rabbitat film has been viewed over 1000 times! Word about the film is spreading through cyberspace, with links on several websites and blogs. If you haven’t watched it yet, you can see it here.
I have this book Salley – I love to look at all the illustrations, one day soon I will try again to make some of these cute little folks..
Hi Salley, wonderful to have visitors eh – even cyber visitors? I have the English version of Wee Folk and am about to try the body of a little boy. I’m a staller or procrastinator or whatever meaning that I feel I have to finish one project before I start the other. Just finishing up the Spirit Dolls and then on to the illustrations. Thanks so much for your work/play and the inspiration it gives me.
this is a long time that I admire your work and it inspires me in some of my achievements and have been teaching for little children, I really like the illustrations in your books.
Art is something that brings the whole world together in a wonderful way!
Oh Salley, it is wonderful. When I first found your site I was living in France, but very happy to be able to see everything in my own language.
Your work is international because everyone can recognize the love you put into it.
Our library has your book, so I have taken it out a few times. I just love looking at the pictures, but I always have to take it back, before I can make anything. But, I can take it out again and next time I will wait for when I know I have time to try some things.
Debbie

Hi, I purchased Felt Wee Folk a few years ago and even made a little fairy girl. I am an admirer of your imagination and incredible detail in the pages you have created. I recently moved to Atlantic Canada (from Alberta) and I was thrilled to find 3 mighty oaks in our front yard as well as the hundred’s or perhaps thousand’s of acorn “hats” for future wee folk I will make. I’m glad I found your blog.
