This Saturday, Dec. 10th, I’ll be signing books from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, Massachusetts. This will be the last event of the year, professionally, that is. Some original illustrations from Pocketful of Posies will be displayed during my visit. The old woman who lived in a shoe will be there, as well as Peter the pumpkin eater.
I’ll also bring the orignal illustration I made for the Horn Book Magazine. To see a preview of the Jan/Feb magazine cover, go here. I hope to meet some of you at the Quilt Museum this Saturday!
Oh Salley how beautiful your pictures are. I picked up the book Pocket Full of Posies when I saw the show in Vermont. It is my favourite so far. Haven’t got them all “yet”. Have a great show – wish I could be there.
Salley I so look forward to your posts, they are always interesting. I just love your work and hope to make it to the quilt museum, it is a great place, remember when they opened. I used to belong to a quilting group. also did embroidery, great teacher in Framingham . She only used appelton wool used to go to Dennis to get it! Hope to see you love your beautiful work.
The book cover is wonderful. Your work just gets more sublime.
I am a new fan—-forever! Love your creative, colorful, whimsical, delightful, one-of-a-kind creations! I hope someday to see them “face to face” 🙃 in person. Until then I’ll start collecting your books (it’s not hoarding if it’s books—right!?!).
