Living Crafts blog is holding a giveaway for 2 of my books, Felt Wee Folk and Pocketful of Posies. The deadline to leave a comment is April 17th, 2011. Details are at the end of the interview, My Life My Craft: SALLEY MAVOR here.
Also, I’ve recently written a story for C&T Publishing’s blog about the symbiotic relationship between my how-to book and my children’s books here.
I have seen your work before and always admired your creative use of fabrics and embellishments. I would love to experiment more with creating pictorials and working with textiles.

I just read through a lot of your older posts —- your work is wonderful, delightful, inspiring and oh so much fun!
Great interview! And if I didn’t say it before; congrats on the Golden Kite Award–it’s about time!!!!
Very curious to see what you’ll be up to next. Personally, I’m enjoying making flocked vintage style candy containers at the moment.
😉
Always got to keep evolving, and learning! I love how you describe your process–everything doesn’t have to be about the quickest and easiest way to make a buck. That’s not art.
amazing needlework!!! so inspiring and whimsical!
It is so much fun to see your needlework…the happiest part of my email!!! I can’t get over the cleverness of your embellishments and your wonderful stitching!!!

Am I too late? I love your work. You are very talented, and I’d love to win.
I own several of your books. They have inspired me in doll-making, sewing projects and in my poetry. I have made many things for my grandchildren which were inspired by your work. That your are able to do what you love and to make a living at it is rare and wonderful.
I wish you continued joy.
