This wooden rabbit has been around since my childhood and may have been my father’s toy in the 1920’s. The front leg joints have been repaired with a knotted cord. At about 4″ long, it’s easily held and manipulated by a child. I love the simple and durable form.
Your work is just lovely, and I’m so glad to know you have a blog. Thank you for leaving a comment on mine…your book was a big part of our grand and magical celebration.
A fine rabbit indeed.
Oh I have a weak spot for rabbits and he is really lovely !
Salley, what lovely treasures you have from both sides of your family. I think it is wonderful that they have a home where they are both appreciated and made available for others to appreciate too.
